ICAP (Individual Career and Academic Plan)

ICAP_iconStarting in sixth grade and continuing through high school, students create and update an ongoing plan, serving as a roadmap to help them visualize the steps required to meet their future college and career goals. Developing the plan includes participating in counselor-led activities on career interests, goal setting, college opportunities, financial literacy and financial aid, and developing 21st-century skills which increase academic success. West Leadership Academy students will work on their ICAPs during their advisory classes. At the end of their senior year, they will turn in the completed plan to fulfill the ICAP requirement.
